Who We Are
The Endless Mountains Cruisers is a non-profit organization that was formed in the year 1997 by and for auto enthusiasts. The club is located in the beautiful town of Montrose, in the Endless Mountains region of northeastern PA. Club revenues are received through sponsorships, show registration fees, door prizes, chinese auctions, donations, and yearly dues paid by members.
Amongst other events, the club hosts an annual Car and Truck show which is held on the scenic Montrose High School grounds. Club members also enter area car shows, get together for social events, and meet at local favorite hotspots.
The club's major goal is to support local charities. Since our inception in 1997, the Cruisers have donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Scranton a total of $19,327.00; to the Kiwanis Club, a total of $2,900.00, (used to purchase "Toys for Tots" and food for other local charities during the holidays). In 2007, the Cruisers added another local charity: the Woman’s Resource Center. To date donations exceed $1,100.00. The Cruisers have also created an annual scholarship award to a qualified Montrose High School senior who is continuing education in the automotive or industrial field.

KIWANIS CLUB P.O. Box 275 OF MONTROSE AREA Montrose, PA 18801 570-278-3537 January 4, 2010 Endless Mountains Cruisers Club c/o David Coddington, President RR 1 Box 209 Montrose, PA 18801 Dear David and Members of the Cruisers Club; The Kiwanis Club of Montrose Area would like to extend a gracious and heartfelt THANK YOU for your extremely generous donation of $600 to our annual Christmas Toy Drive. Because of the cruisers club benevolence, this year’s Toy Drive was another success story. This year marks the 30th straight year that the Kiwanis Club has participated in this worthwhile community service project. The need for helping our neighbors was as great and even greater this year as it has been in past years. The public’s response to the call for help was extremely heart-warming, generous and overwhelming. Along with the donations of other people, churches, organizations, and businesses, we were able to make this Christmas a day filled with joy and hope by providing at least 3 to 5 new and used toys per child. Each year the Interfaith Christmas Bureau coordinates this entire Christmas project. The process includes registering ALL participants beginning in early October. To be eligible, each registrant is required to provide proof of income and the list of participants is checked with other organizations to ensure there is no duplication. Each family that registers is eligible to receive a food basket, new and used toys, and winter coats. Toys and food baskets were distributed on Thursday, December 17, 2009, at the Montrose Bible Conference on Lake Avenue in Montrose and the United Methodist Church on Church Street in Montrose. Coats were given out at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Montrose. This year a total of 900 children and 700 families throughout Susquehanna County received Christmas gifts. A total of almost 4000 toys and games (new and used) were purchased, collected and distributed. Attached please find some photos that show just a small portion of the toys and food baskets that were given out. As you can see, the response was truly blessed. Thanks again for helping us share the spirit of the Christmas season. To see the smiles on the faces of the children who get the toys is the greatest gift any of us can receive! May the New Year of 2010 bring many blessings, good health, prosperity, joy and peace to you and all the members of the Endless Mountains Cruisers Club and your loved ones!! Sincerely yours, Ed DeWitt, Chairman 2009 Kiwanis Christmas Toy Drive
